Un listón amarillo es un símbolo con diferentes significados, usualmente asociado con aquellos que están esperando el regreso de una persona amada o de las tropas militares que no pueden volver a casa temporalmente.

En esta canción lo usan como burla a aquellos que traen un listón amarillo en su enorme camioneta traga-gasolina (SUV), según ellos muy preocupados por las tropas, pero al mismo tiempo contribuyendo por sus hábitos de consumo a que se den esas mismas guerras a las que son enviados los solados.
